About the Role We’re seeking an experienced groomer to join our team on a casual basis (2–3 days per week). This is a hands‑on role involving dog grooming, washing/drying, customer service, and maintaining salon cleanliness. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to deliver high‑quality grooming and a smooth daily workflow. There is genuine potential to grow into a future full‑time role. Key Responsibilities
- Completing full grooms, tidy groom, and breed cuts
- Washing, drying, brushing (de-shed) and pre-grooming preparation
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
- Identifying and communicating any coat, skin, or health concerns
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Supporting team members and contributing to a positive, collaborative environment
- Following all health, safety, and animal‑welfare standards What We’re Looking For
- Proven grooming experience with photos or a portfolio
- Minimum 2 years professional grooming experience
- Confident in all aspects of grooming: bathing, drying, clipping, scissoring
- Calm, gentle handling with all breeds and temperaments
- Solid attention to detail and consistent grooming standards
- Reliable, professional, and able to complete grooms independently within a team
- Comfortable with customer service and salon cleaning duties
- Able to work efficiently in a structured, process‑driven environment
