Early Childcare Educators - Diploma & Cert Iii (Engadine)

Keyorris Pty Ltd is privately owned and family-run, operating Long Day Care Centres within the Sutherland Shire. We aim to provide early childhood care and education in a safe, welcoming, adoptive and nurturing setting.

- Diploma Preschool Room Assistants
- Certificate III Preschool Room Assistants

Your role: As an early childhood professional, you are responsible for providing quality education and care to all children attending the service. This will be achieved by building relationships with families, planning, programming, and implementing an inclusive high-quality program tailored to each child’s needs and interests. You will adhere to the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.

The positions also assist with day-to-day operational tasks, including but not limited to supervision, serving meals, housekeeping, running group time, and keeping a safe work environment for staff and children.

Selection Criteria:

- Sound understanding of early childhood theory and curriculum planning for children 0-5 years
- Certificate III in Early Childhood and Education, a Diploma in Early Childhood and Education.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with children and families
- Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team-teaching context
- Track record of actively contributing to the efficient and effective operation/development of a high-quality childcare service
- Knowledge of WHS policies and environmental sustainability principles and procedures
- Maintain a valid paid Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Identify and Respond to Children at Risk certificate
- Commitment to inclusive practices and child protection
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework
