Senior Civil Designer - Sutherland

Working in our Civil team, you can draft concepts and detailed design documentation for various projects. You will achieve this by collaboratively working with our engineering professionals and project managers. You will ideally be based in our office in Sutherland, but we can also explore your preference for our Sydney CBD or Wollongong offices to suit your location. As the Senior Civil Designer, you will be responsible to:
- Delivery of 3D design models and/or AutoCAD design drawings for the civil team, interfacing with our multi-disciplinary project teams;
- Road design, grading, bulk earthworks, Public Domain Road Frontage Works, driveways, car parks and sub-divisions; and
- Working with engineers and fellow designers. Your experience will include:
- Engineering Diploma and/or relevant recognised qualification;
- Minimum five years relevant experience (however demonstrated project experience will be considered if less);
- Australian projects, preferably NSW, with an understanding of applicable standards and design criteria;
- Utilities, drainage (stormwater), and sewer (while not required) would be favoured;
- You are a self-motivated, technically competent individual who can work both independently and collaboratively;
- You have excellent communication abilities and skills;
- 12D and AutoCAD experience; and
- Civil 3D or Revit knowledge would be favourable. We enjoy monthly Accrued Days Off (ADOs), and as voted by the JN Team, we work in the office Monday, Thursday, and Friday with the flexibility to work from home on Tuesday and Wednesday.
