About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced groomer to join our team on a casual basis (2–3 days per week). This is a hands‑on role involving dog grooming, washing/drying, customer service, and maintaining salon cleanliness. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to deliver high‑quality grooming and a smooth daily workflow. There is genuine potential to grow into a future full‑time role.
Key Responsibilities Completing full grooms, tidy groom, and breed cuts Washing, drying, brushing (de-shed) and pre-grooming preparation Providing friendly, professional customer service Identifying and communicating any coat, skin, or health concerns Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace Supporting team members and contributing to a positive, collaborative environment Following all health, safety, and animal‑welfare standards
What We’re Looking For Proven grooming experience with photos or a portfolio Minimum 2 years professional grooming experience Confident in all aspects of grooming: bathing, drying, clipping, scissoring Calm, gentle handling with all breeds and temperaments Strong attention to detail and consistent grooming standards Reliable, professional, and able to complete grooms independently within a team Comfortable with customer service and salon cleaning duties Able to work efficiently in a structured, process‑driven environment Must have Australian work rights
