Registered Nurse Manager – General Practice Full-Time Position Caringbah Family Practice Caringbah Family Practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse Manager to lead our small and supportive nursing team within our busy, well-established general practice. About the Role As our Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Practice Manager and doctors to oversee the day-to-day coordination of the nursing team and ensure the smooth clinical operation of the practice. This role is ideal for someone who can lead professionally while maintaining a warm, approachable, and team-focused attitude. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of nurses
- Coordinate nursing rosters and daily workflow
- Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical compliance
- Assist with accreditation and quality improvement activities
- Maintain infection control and cold chain management protocols
- Support staff training and ongoing professional development
- Work collaboratively with GPs, reception, and management
- Manage nursing performance in a professional and supportive manner
- Report directly to the Practice Manager Essential Skills & Experience
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in General Practice nursing
- Solid knowledge and experience using Best Practice software
- Proven leadership or team management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and approachable manner
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Desirable
- Experience with RACGP accreditation processes
- Immunisation certification
- Chronic disease management experience
