We are currently looking for psychologists to join our growing practice working across both clinics at Cronulla and Engadine. We are an established practice with our flagship location in Cronulla, and have grown significantly in the past 3 years across both locations. Both our offices are bright and sunny with large windows in the buzzing centre of each of the suburbs. We are looking to bring someone on board in a part time or full time capacity and we are flexible on the amount of days you are looking for. There is also scope to build days up over time across both locations (Cronulla and Engadine). About us At The Sunshine Club Psychology, we believe in removing stigma from mental health and making it as easy and as comfortable as possible for our clients to reach out for help. We aim to avoid the sterilised feel of attending a medical appointment and making therapy a place where you can wear your gym tights, grab and coffee, get comfy on the couch and work things through. At the same time, it is vital that we offer services from an evidenced based perspective and keep up with the most current research and modalities. About the role We are looking for a registered psychologist to join our practice as a contractor. Early career and newly registered psychologists are encouraged to apply, as are those looking for extra hours to supplement a current role or coming back from maternity leave. You will have capacity to specify preferred clients and manage your hours in whatever works for you (pending room availability). - Must hold full general registration with AHPRA as a psychologist (or will have full registration at the time of starting the role);
- Eligibility to provide services under Medicare;
- Must have a recent working with children’s check and police check or be willing to obtain one;
- Values a flexible work environment, and looking to be part of a vibrant, collaborative, and growing team.
- Takes a fun, positive and client centred approach to therapy, aimed at supporting clients towards achieving meaningful and sustainable change;
- Highly developed organisational and administrative skills;
