Medical Receptionist (Como)

Auspoint Skin Cancer and Health is growing and looking for an experienced medical receptionist, who is highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team in a senior position. The position is well suited to an individual that is caring, team-oriented and has skilled approach in dealing with the patients and answers to enquires.

**About the Role**

**Essential**:

- Previous experience in a management and or high-level practice administrative position
- Experience in Medical software (Best Practice preferred), accounting systems and reporting processes
- Experience in payroll systems and legislated employment conditions
- An understanding of medical terminology and Medicare Billing Scheme
- The ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamwork
- Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships
- Good communication and documentation skills
- An exemplary work ethic
- A keen eye for detail
- An appreciation for a strong, trust-based team culture
- Professional telephone manner with answering incoming calls to the Practice and managing patient enquiries
- Scheduling patient appointments for both locations including Medical cosmetic clinic
- checking patients in/out of appointments, obtaining test results, organising necessary follow-up appointments
- Invoicing and receipting payments
- Stock management

Pay: $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
