Area Manager | Small Growing Portfolio (Sutherland)

About the role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Manager to oversee a small growing portfolio of centres across the Sutherland shire region of New South Wales. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the operational management and strategic direction of multiple sites, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are delivered to our young learners. What you'll be doing
- Provide operational support to Centres, guiding them to achieve key performance indicators and quality standards
- Lead and motivate teams across multiple sites, fostering a positive, collaborative, and enriching work culture
- Manage the recruitment, training, and development of staff to build a high-performing, qualified workforce
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to early childhood education and care
- Develop and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement in service delivery, enrolment, and financial performance
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including parents, community partners, and regulatory bodies, to enhance the children's experience
- Contribute to the overall strategic planning and growth initiatives of our network What we're looking for
- Experience in a senior management role within the early childhood education and care sector (Current Centre Managers/Directors looking for the next career step are encouraged to apply)
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong operational and financial management skills, with the ability to identify and implement efficiencies
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a customer-centric approach
- Thorough understanding of early childhood education regulations, quality standards, and best practices
