As part of our ongoing efforts to balance urban development with environmental stewardship, we are seeking a Tree Management Officer to join our Environmental and Regulation Unit within the Planning Directorate.

**About The Role**: **Who We're Looking For**: We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual who holds a Degree in Landscape Architecture (or nearing completion) or holds a Certificate IV in Horticulture (Arboriculture) or an equivalent qualification. You should have a Class C Driver's Licence and a NSW OH&S; General Induction White Card.
- Demonstrated experience in tree assessment and management.
- Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using PC systems, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication and people skills to foster collaboration and constructive feedback.

- **Interview date**:Interviews will be facilitated within 2 weeks of the closing date
- **Package**:$93,854-$96,671 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- **Hours of work**:Permanent Full Time. You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
