Medical Receptionist Como

Auspoint Skin Cancer and Health is growing and looking for an experienced medical receptionist, who is highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team in a senior position. The position is well suited to an individual that is caring, team-oriented and has skilled approach in dealing with the patients and answers to enquires.

About the Role

Essential:

Previous experience in a management and or high-level practice administrative position

Experience in Medical software (Best Practice preferred), accounting systems and reporting processes

Experience in payroll systems and legislated employment conditions

An understanding of medical terminology and Medicare Billing Scheme

The ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamwork

Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships

Good communication and documentation skills

An exemplary work ethic

A keen eye for detail

An appreciation for a solid, trust-based team culture

Qualified telephone manner with answering incoming calls to the Practice and managing patient enquiries

Scheduling patient appointments for both locations including Medical cosmetic clinic

checking patients in/out of appointments, obtaining test results, organising necessary follow-up appointments

Invoicing and receipting payments

Stock management
