Description We are seeking an experienced Community Property Advisor to manage and support Council’s diverse property portfolio and contribute to strategic outcomes that benefit the community. About The Role In this role, you will provide expert property advice and manage a range of property matters including community leasing, acquisitions and disposals, easements, road closures, and statutory land dealings across Council’s Community, Operational, Road and Crown Land assets. Key Responsibilities Managing leased and licensed property portfolios, including rent reviews, renewals and arrears Negotiating and administering lease and licence agreements Coordinating property acquisitions, disposals and easements Preparing Council reports and supporting statutory land processes Providing property advice to internal and external stakeholders Managing consultants and property-related projects Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Council policies About You You are a collaborative and community-minded property professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage complex property matters in a dynamic environment. Essential Tertiary qualification in Property, Land Economics, Valuation, Planning or equivalent experience Experience in property management, acquisitions, disposals and statutory transactions Robust knowledge of leases, easements, land titles and related legal processes Excellent communication and report writing skills Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder relationships Current Driver Licence Desirable Local Government experience Knowledge of relevant legislation (Local Government Act, Crown Land Management Act, Roads Act, Conveyancing Act) Experience coordinating consultants and project teams Benefits & Compensation Join our team and grow with us! Compensation is $99,569 – $105,544 gross per annum plus 12% superannuation. Full‑time, 35 hours per week. You will have the option of a 19‑day month through Council’s flex system.
