Marketing Manager (Maternity Leave Contract) Hurley Hotel Group Full time, 12 month, Maternity leave contract About the Group The Hurley Hotel Group is a proudly South Australian, family-owned business with a robust heritage spanning over fifty years, having grown into a respected hospitality group operating ten hotels across South Australia and now employing over eight hundred staff. We actively support local community groups and maintain long-standing partnerships, working closely with charities, sporting clubs and community events to make a positive difference. About the role The company is rapidly growing, with ten separate Hotel sites, each with its own personality and position in the market. The hospitality offer across our Hotels is, and is intended to be, specific for its local customer, their psychology, wants and needs. You will have ten separate Hotel brands, sub brands for key trading bars, group brands for Cellars/Bottleshop departments, individual and group brands for accommodation, gaming rooms, and gaming loyalty. Collaborating with Hotel Managers, Cellars, Group Accommodation, Gaming and Operations Management teams. Each Hotel property will have a range of key events over a calendar year and trading periods of importance which expand into an annual marketing plan. Provide oversight/guidance of social media content primarily on Facebook and Instagram, email advertising schedules and insight into digital marketing campaigns, Google and Meta advertising. You will lead and support the work of the marketing team which includes a Marketing Assistant, two Graphic Designers, Digital Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator. In addition broader external media campaigns will form part of the role, used as needed to support renovation or sales goals in specific properties and working with our PR company to ensure a strong presence in the broader media. Reporting to the General Manager and communicating strategy with Directors, you will collaborate in the planning, execution and measurement of campaigns, with the objective of supporting business growth, driving leads and delivering customer conversion. Skills and experience This is a fantastic opening for a marketing graduate with two to three years experience to accelerate their career growth. Using your exceptional organisation, management and leadership skills, combined with your understanding of the Hospitality industry customer, you will master the ability to lead and manage the marketing of a diverse, multifaceted business and establish your ability to do so for the future. Ideally you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Communications, a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail and excellent planning abilities.
