We are an industrial supplies business operating in Mittagong, Southern Highlands since 2004. We stock a large range of bolts, nuts, bearings, belts, and all other industrial needs.

We are looking for a front counter sales assistant to join our team! *Please note
- this is not an administration role*

Duties & Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position include but not limited to;
- Greet customers and assist with enquiries
- Provide customers with prompt service
- Cashier duties (sales & returns)
- Answering phones
- Handling incoming/outgoing workshop jobs
- Maintain stock and inventory (i.e. nuts, bolts, belts, bearings)
- Processing received goods (including manoeuvring gas bottles)
- Purchase Orders
- Maintain a clean store appearance

**Requirements**:

- Forklift tick (preferred)
- Require the equivalent completion of Year 10
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure
- Sound understanding of metric and imperial units
- Sound communication skills
- Can work well independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn
- Positive, energic and qualified attitude
- Basic understanding of POS systems

Hours

8am
- 4pm. Monday
- Friday.

Training will be provided.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00
- $35.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
