Production Manager (Manufacturing) (Braemar)

VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Production Manager (Manufacturing) to join our clients' business Protector Australia Pty Ltd in Braemar. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team, with strong communication skills. Position Overview The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality output, cost control, and compliance with organisational and regulatory standards. The role involves coordinating production activities, managing staff performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Determine, implement, and monitor production strategies, policies, and operational plans to ensure efficient and effective workflow across departments
- Plan production activities including output, quality, quantity, cost, timelines, and labour requirements to meet business objectives
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth coordination of production processes and optimal workflow efficiency
- Manage quality assurance systems and ensure compliance with organisational standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor production output, costs, and resource usage, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Prepare, review, and approve technical drawings, drafts, production documentation, and related operational materials
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery
- Supervise staff, allocate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and accountability across operations
- Oversee maintenance planning, operating schedules, and the supply of required materials, parts, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements across all production activities
- Oversee the acquisition, installation, and commissioning of new plant and equipment
- Lead initiatives to research and improve production methods, systems, and operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation for management review and compliance purposes Qualification & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in production, operations, or manufacturing management
- Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills
- Knowledge of quality systems and workplace health and safety standards
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive operational efficiency Work experience: 2 years in a similar position within related industries. Remuneration: $90,000.00
