About the role

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide care and assistance to a 8 year old boy with a traumatic brain injury living at home with his family.

Duties include but not limited to:

PEG feeding

Hoist transfers

Personal care and bowel care

Medication administration

Assistance with Allied health tasks and therapy routines

Manual handling

Domestic tasks

Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Shift times weekly:

3pm-7pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

8am-12pm Saturday

1pm-7pm Sunday

Requirements:

Current references

Mobile phone

Current driver's licence and your own car (mandatory)

NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)

First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)

Paid WWCC (Working with Children's check) or willing to obtain
