We have a strong track record of growth, and are expanding, requiring a building supervisor to join our Award Winning construction team. Working from our Southern Highlands office and servicing the surrounding local area, you will be responsible for a diverse range of builds. About the role: The permanent Full Time Construction Site Supervisor will be responsible for working across multiple sites, managing homes from commencement to completion, taking pride in exceeding customer’s expectations alongside our hard working but fun team, in a great atmosphere and positive, customer focused environment. Your high performance will be further recognised with financial incentives for achieving specific outcomes during the build. This will involve:
- Managing the overall site performance of our home construction process
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and trades are ordered and available on time to ensure an efficient building process
- Management of building time frames through the Scheduling function of GJ Gardner proprietary software
- Maintaining strict Workplace Health & Safety regulation compliance and Quality Assurance systems (supported by the excellent HazardCo framework)
- Meeting with customers on site for stage inspections
- Working with our highly experienced sales, customer service and management team to deliver exceptional homes About you: You will be have the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience with a history of work in a similarly sized business
- A willingness to support and be supported within a close-knit team
- Organised and methodical – you will be capable of managing the administration associated with multiple builds within scheduled time frames with a strong attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable – you can resolve issues quickly and adapt to changing situations to make each build as seamless as possible
- Customer focussed – exceptional communication making the customer experience a positive one
- Connected
- you will bring with you a range of contacts for subcontractors and trades to use alongside our existing contacts
- Able to work autonomously with strong support of the team
- Good computer literacy with experience in construction software.
- Reside in or be looking to relocate to the Southern Highland areas
