Position: Allied Health Assistant Location: Across NCN Health EFT/Hours: 0.6 EFT (48 Hours Per Fortnight) Status: Part Time Fixed Term until June 30, 2027 Hourly Rate: Dependent upon qualification and skill level and 12 % superannuation About The Role NCN Health is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join our Allied Health and Chronic Disease team. This position is responsible for the implementation of individual and group interventions and/or therapy programs as delegated by treating Allied Health practitioners and Nursing staff as part of the newly funded Murray PHN Chronic Disease Exercise and Education Program. The program will deliver direct clinical services through a structured exercise and education group program for people living with chronic conditions
- cardiovascular (CVD), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and diabetes. The program will be delivered at each of the 3 campuses both in-person, virtually and will also include some outreach locations. About You
- Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
- Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), if an enrolled nurse
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or Enrolled Nurse or other relevant qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in coordination and conducting therapeutic group-based activities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal supervision whilst under the direction of allied health professionals in the multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competent in using Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and well-developed computer skills and experience including accurate and timely client data management.
