Experienced Civil Construction Operators and Labourers Fowlers Asphalting delivers a broad range of civil infrastructure, road construction, pavement rehabilitation and earthworks projects throughout the Gippsland region. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Civil Construction Operators and Labourers to join our expanding team. Multiple positions are available across a variety of civil construction projects throughout Gippsland. What We Offer

- Operate civil construction plant and equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform labouring duties as required to support project delivery
- Assist with earthworks, pavement construction and road maintenance activities
- Follow project plans, specifications and instructions
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment usage
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance of plant and equipment
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators and crew members
- Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental and quality requirements Requirements
- Proven experience within the civil construction industry
- Experience in civil works, road construction, pavements or bulk earthworks
- Ability to understand and work from plans, levels and set-out information
- Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Current Driver Licence
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence or higher highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours when required Plant Experience (Highly Desirable) Experience operating one or more of the following:
- Grader
- Excavator (including bulk earthworks, GPS operation and final trim)
- Roller
- Front End Loader
- Articulated Dump Truck
- Skid Steer Loader
- Water Cart Desirable Skills
- GPS and UTS machine control experience
- Understanding of VicRoads and civil construction specifications
- Knowledge of the Gippsland region
