- $92,898 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).

The team facilitates and supports all core areas of HR, including strategic planning, cultural advice and initiatives, capability enhancement, occupational health and safety, workforce planning, talent acquisition, recognition and engagement, performance management, and workforce relations. - Professional Development plays a key role in supporting the delivery of professional development programs, initiatives, and events aligned with the organisation’s People Strategy. The position contributes to the successful implementation of strategic priorities by coordinating projects that enhance learning, engagement, and workforce capability. This role also leads and delivers key organisational initiatives including our suite of ASPIRE programs, the annual staff development conference, employee recognition, and our annual learning plan. In this role, you will collaborate with executives, managers, and staff across the organisation to build strong stakeholder relationships and support effective communication, ensuring a positive and consistent approach to employee experience and development initiatives. As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will:
- Lead the development and delivery of professional development programs and learning initiatives aligned with Holmesglen’s People Strategy and organisational priorities.
- Manage the end‑to‑end coordination of Holmesglen’s ASPIRE programs, including leadership development, staff induction, recognition initiatives and the annual ASPIRE Conference.
- Develop and maintain the Institute’s professional development calendar, annual learning plan, branded learning resources and staff communications to promote engagement and accessibility.
- Support organisational development initiatives that enhance employee experience, workforce capability, organisational effectiveness and continuous improvement through data analysis, consultation and stakeholder collaboration.
- Coordinate program budgets, supplier relationships, reporting and administrative processes to ensure high‑quality, compliant and financially sustainable program delivery. To be successful, you’ll have:
- Degree in business, human resources (organisational development) or psychology or similar relevant discipline.
- Lesser formal qualifications may be accepted subject to substantial relevant experience in the organisation development and employee experience field.
- Strong understanding of contemporary professional development approaches, e‑learning, and learning management systems within large, complex organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering projects and events that support organisational objectives, including survey coordination and reporting.
- Sound knowledge of organisational development practices, particularly within the Vocational and Higher Education sectors, with awareness of relevant policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months. Desirable:
- Membership of the Australian Human Resources Institute and Organisation Development Australia or other similar networks would be well regarded.
