About The Role This role is dedicated to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students by fostering meaningful cultural and educational engagement, while strengthening the connection between students, their families, and the school community. The position involves building genuine relationships with students and local Indigenous communities, assisting teachers to incorporate Indigenous perspectives into the classroom, and promoting a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive school environment. The role also requires active participation in career development, staff meetings, and adherence to the College’s values, the CE Code of Professional Conduct, and Child Protection policies, all aimed at enhancing student learning outcomes and supporting the College’s strategic goals. - This is a temporary role that may be extended into Term 4, 2026. Responsibilities
- Support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their families.
- Build genuine relationships with students and local Indigenous communities.
- Assist teachers to incorporate Indigenous perspectives into classroom lessons.
- Promote a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive school environment.
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
- Adhere to the College’s values, the CE Code of Professional Conduct, and Child Protection policies. Benefits and Opportunities
