At Southern, our trainees play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations across clinical and non-clinical departments. Your skills will help keep our rural health service running effectively and support our community’s wellbeing. **What you'll be doing** Undertake vocational training (Certificate III minimum) while working one day per week (part-time) at a SNSWLHD facility.
**Selection Criteria**
- Currently studying towards Higher School Certificate.
- Demonstrates willingness to undertake Certificate III as part of traineeship which includes working 1 day per week over a period of 2 years.
- Articulates possible challenges in completing the school based traineeship.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015: Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases for Category A positions prior to offer. All recent employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in the policy.
