**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparing and baking bread loaves and rolls in accordance with set recipes and quality standards
- Weighing, measuring, kneading, and mixing dough ingredients manually and with commercial mixers
- Monitoring and controlling proofing conditions and baking temperatures to achieve optimal results
- Cutting, moulding, and shaping dough into specific sizes and forms
- Operating and maintaining baking ovens and other related machinery
- Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness of the baking area and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Checking the quality of raw ingredients and finished products for freshness and consistency
- Storing baking ingredients appropriately and managing inventory rotation
- Recording production data and adhering to established procedures and timelines
- Working cooperatively with other bakery staff to meet production targets and customer demand

**Experience & Qualifications**
- AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV required.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial baking experience preferred
- Knowledge of a wide range of baking methods and dough types
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow production schedules
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
