Position: Full-time (38 hours per week)

Salary: $74,000
- $79,000 per annum + superannuation

24 Thai Street Restaurant & Café is a well-established Thai restaurant known for its authentic Thai cuisine and quality dining experience. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities Plan and organise food preparation and cooking activities across all kitchen sections Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Thai dishes in line with established recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning, including seasonal menu development and cost control Estimate food and labour costs and assist in maintaining budget targets Ensure consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation Oversee kitchen operations during service, ensuring timely and efficient kitchen operations Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations Train, supervise, and support junior kitchen staff Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and minimise food wastage

Skills & Requirements:

Relevant qualification (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher, or equivalent) Minimum 1
- 2 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Chef Solid knowledge of Thai cuisine and commercial kitchen operations Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen workplace Solid teamwork and communication skills
