Pathology Collector (Moonta)

Responsibilities
- Collect blood, urine, swabs, and other pathology samples from patients.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labelling.
- Prepare and store specimens according to protocols.
- Complete paperwork and data entry with attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the collection area.
- Provide clear instructions and support to patients.
- Follow infection control and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks. Skills and Experience
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection, or relevant industry experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
- Strong time management and organisational abilities.
- Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of specimen collection procedures.
- Effective communication skills with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly across weekday and weekend shifts.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence.
