- Teaching $91.42
- 98.77 p/h + 12% super (dependent on qualifications and experience).
- Multiple Campuses – onsite parking and close proximity to public transport. The Social Inclusion and Vocational College department is dedicated to supporting students who face barriers to mainstream education by providing inclusive, flexible, and supportive learning environments. The department focuses on re-engaging young people through a combination of tailored educational programs, vocational training, and holistic wellbeing support. With a strong emphasis on practical learning, employability skills, and personal development, the department empowers students to build confidence, achieve meaningful qualifications, and transition successfully into further education, training, or employment. At its core, the department is committed to fostering equity, belonging, and long-term positive outcomes for all students. The teacher plays a pivotal part in designing and implementing innovative, inclusive learning experiences that respond to the diverse needs of learners through the VPC and VCE VM curriculum. The role involves designing and facilitating meaningful learning that builds literacy, numeracy, personal development, employability, and vocational capabilities, whilst fostering strong student engagement and wellbeing. The successful candidate will be committed to inclusive education, relationship-based practice, and supporting students to transition successfully into further education, training, or employment. To be successful, you will have:
- Current VIT registration
- Experience working with students with barriers to learning and engagement
- In-depth understanding of inclusive and trauma-informed pedagogies
