The Opportunity

AFMH aims to farm sustainably to secure home-grown forage for our cows with a focus on water efficiency, nutrient recovery and recycling across more than 2,000 hectares. With an intensive double cropping program of corn, cereals, lucerne and canola, we work closely with our agronomy and management teams to continually improve quality and production capabilities.

This opportunity provides secure, long-term employment in a safety-driven workplace, with prospect for career progression. You will be encouraged and supported to complete HR/HC licensing, loader, skidsteer, and forklift ticketing, ChemCert accreditation and other training as required.

About AFMH

AFMH operates multiple sites across eastern Australia. Dairy operations are located at Moxey Farms in Gooloogong, NSW, as well as Coomboona Farms in Coomboona, VIC. In addition, AFMH operates Ladysmith Farms a young stock operation near Wagga Wagga, NSW.

The successful applicant will possess:

Experience in broadacre and cropping farming practices

Experience operating farm machinery including tractors, planters, spreaders and harvesters

A genuine interest in sustainable farming operations

A proven history of working well as part of a team with a track record of punctuality and reliability
