Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW provides more than 39,000 services to about 25,000 customers in its operating region.

**About the Role** *** An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced analytical thinker with great excel skills. We are looking for a detail-obsessed, proactive and creative Lead Analyst to drive the delivery of essential modelling and reporting.

Based in Tatura and working in a hybrid environment, you’ll join a dedicated Finance team located in the Business and Finance Division.

As a primary support to the Pricing and Projects Manager this role is key to support all GMW pricing functions with the following responsibilities:

- Develop and enhance financial models that are user friendly and adaptive to multiple scenarios
- Responsible for financial reporting of GMW’s financial performance against approved regulatory submissions
- Project manage the delivery of GMW’s pricing and regulatory reporting from cost and revenue analysis to Board level pricing recommendations
- Support the analysis of pricing scenarios and the price impact of large capital and operating projects
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to increase awareness of GMW’s regulatory environment.

**What do you need?**
- Advanced excel skills and experience with financial software systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling and data analysis
- Ability to work in detail but step back and view big picture trends
- Although experience reporting within a regulatory setting would be an advantage it is not mandatory as on the job training will be provided
- An appropriate business or finance related qualification
- Experience summarizing, analysing and presenting results
- Attention to detail and strong motivation for quality, accuracy and timeliness
