Director Primary Health and Community Services Ongoing Full-time Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a local rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute, subacute, residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. KDHS has three campuses located in the townships of Kyabram, Stanhope and Tongala. Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) provides an integrated range of acute, subacute, residential aged care, allied and primary health with sites at Kyabram, Tongala and Stanhope. With a population of approximately 7,640, Kyabram is located in the Campaspe Shire, close to the regional centres of Shepparton, and Echuca. About the Role KDHS is seeking an experienced, suitably qualified and proven health leader as our next Director of Primary Health and Community Services. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director Primary Health and Community Services will provide leadership for the Primary Health, Community Services, Administration Support Departments and the After Hours GP Clinic, identifying, developing and implementing innovative service initiatives that strengthen community enablement and wellbeing through innovation and co-design with key stakeholders and regional partnerships. You will work in partnership with a vibrant Executive Team, participating in strategic and operational planning for the health service, delivering on operational outcomes in service delivery and their functions. About You To be considered, candidates will preferably have a clinical background and possess extensive executive level healthcare management experience. This includes a proven track record in complex healthcare environments and demonstrated capability in leading the achievement of integrated organisational objectives. Applicants must demonstrate strong and innovative leadership skills, expertise in change management, and resilience which will enable success in the role. You will have the ability to work collaboratively with a broad array of stakeholders; be committed to developing people and building teams to achieve high performance and be capable of motivating people and leading them successfully through organisational change. You will have a clinical degree and post graduate qualification in health, management or related discipline. You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of and experience in maximising operational performance for long-term sustainability as well as your leadership of driving successful change and excellence in collaborating with others to achieve innovative outcomes in service delivery.
