Senior Fire Suppression Technician / Leading Hand (Moranbah)

The Opportunity Firesafe24 is seeking a Senior Fire Service Technician / Leading hand to join our high-performing, fast-paced team in Moranbah and across the Bowen Basin. This role operates on a 7/7 roster and is available on a FIFO or DIDO basis, with travel and accommodation provided. What You’ll Be Doing
- Install, service, and inspect fire suppression systems in accordance with relevant standards and regulations
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair system faults or component failures
- Identify non-compliant items or system defects
- Accurately complete all required paperwork, service reports, and compliance documentation
- Provide training and guidance to customers on the correct use and maintenance of installed equipment
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through prompt, qualified communication and site callouts
- Support business growth, identify customer requirements and communicate opportunities to the management team What You’ll Bring
- Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection & Testing (CPP20521)
- QBCC Licence
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards (including AS185-2012)
- Proven experience with mobile suppression system installation and servicing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, safety aware with a strong attention to detail
- Working at Heights, Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical are desirable but not essential
- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to fault find and provide practical solutions
- Strong communicator with exceptional customer service skills
- Willingness to travel to remote or regional sites What We Offer
