About the Role We are seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians to join our Maintenance Team at Goonyella. In this position you will be required to perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of High Voltage mining equipment, including but not limited to Komatsu, Cat and Liebherr Electric Drive systems.
- Servicing and maintaining High Voltage mining equipment (Komatsu, Cat, Liebherr)
- Repairing faults and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Ensuring compliance with site safety processes and high‑detail standards About You
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate/QLD Electrical Licence (essential)
- Experience working on a coal mine in QLD (essential)
- Experience with computerised maintenance management systems including SAP (desirable)
- Previous experience in servicing and maintaining mining mobile plant and equipment (desirable)
- Experience with Cat, Hitachi, Komatsu or Liebherr excavators and Caterpillar trucks (highly desirable)
- Safety focused with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety processes Working at BUMA
- 7/7 roster – 12hr 20min for the first 6 shifts and 10hr on the 7th shift to assist employees in traveling home within fatigue hours
