You are comfortable with general tools and confident with a computer, a calculator and following instructions. Role Purpose: You will be working in a warehouse environment assisting with the disassembly and sorting of electronic equipment, as well as the assembly and preparation of pallets to specific requirements.
- Disassembly of dated electronic devices and infrastructure
- Identifying and sorting electronic components appropriately
- Building pallets to specific specifications and job orders
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- General warehouse duties and maintaining a clean work area
- Following instructions and completing tasks accurately Skills:
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- Basic computer skills
- Basic reading, writing and maths skills with the ability to use a calculator
- Ability to disassemble electronic devices and identify basic components (or willingness to learn)
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual Experience using basic tools such as
- Hammers
- Chisels
- Screwdrivers
- Electric drills / impact drivers
- Ratchets and socket kits
