About the Role Catholic Early EdCare is seeking a casual Educator to join our team at Christ the King Outside School Hours Care in Deception Bay , caring for up to 45 children. You’ll be working right in the heart of the school community, with access to a range of great spaces—including a dedicated OSHC room, spacious oval, library, hall, and covered outdoor areas. It’s the ideal setting for active, hands‑on programs. As part of our team, you’ll help create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel supported and inspired. You’ll assist in planning and delivering engaging activities, preparing nutritious snacks, and ensuring a clean, welcoming space—all while building meaningful connections and making every day enjoyable for the children in our care. - A Diploma, Cert III in Children's Services or ACECQA equivalent qualification (or working towards) is desirable, along with a willingness to step up into an RPIC or Educational Leader role
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
