We welcome a qualified full-time enthusiastic Wellbeing Assistant / Bus Driver to join our team working across our Geelong sites.

The Wellbeing Assistant / Bus Driver supports the development and delivery of meaningful activities to enhance the individual wellbeing and lifestyle needs of our residents.

You will also safely transport residents to and from various destinations and events while ensuring the highest level of customer service and safe and reliable transport.

What you’ll be doing
- Provide safe transportation to external outings
- Manage boarding and exiting the bus to and from outings
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during transit
- Basic vehicle maintenance, cleaning and minor troubleshooting
- Provide the best person-centred care
- Support daily living that optimise our resident’s independence, health, wellbeing, cultural beliefs and quality of life
- Support design and delivery of wellbeing programs
- Review and evaluation of wellbeing care plans and assessments
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure residents wellbeing needs are met

Things that matter to us
- Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle
- Current Driver’s License
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations
- NDIS Check (includes Police Check)
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
