About The Opportunity The role is newly created and reports directly to the Head of Retail. It involves reviewing and refining training programs, identifying learning needs, developing and implementing training solutions, and ensuring consistent excellent customer experiences to drive sales outcomes. The role partners closely with retail leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive engagement, support new store openings and onboarding. What You’ll Do
- Review current training programs, define and refine the training strategy, and create a roadmap for store programs, digital tools and in‑the‑field training
- Identify gaps and prioritize immediate and future training needs
- Support the Area Manager and Head of Retail with engagement of training
- Complete training needs analysis and develop appropriate solutions
- Lead and embed Salomon values and build a team of Store Managers who are engaged brand and product ambassadors
- Develop and implement learning strategies to boost sales and customer loyalty across the network, delivering tailored training support to unique store needs
- Create and implement training and induction programs for new starters, including those from existing roles and new store openings
- Support Head of Retail and Area Manager with the delivery of internal communications relating to retail specific needs and company content
- Build out a communication calendar with key events and initiatives to create a communication plan
- Partner cross‑functionally to hit key milestones of the communication calendar when led by another department
- Identify opportunities to drive engagement through communication and development opportunities
- Assist in coordinating relevant learning events, conferences or special retail events About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR (L&D;) and Certificate IV Training & Assessment (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in L&D; and best practices for the organization
- Experience in learning related programs within a retail setting
- Highly developed communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience in reporting and analyzing learning data
- Understanding of and connection to the Salomon Brand
- Experience in creating communication calendar and templates
- Demonstrated experience in leading communications across a team or division What We Offer
