We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate new team member to join our expanding team. We require a motivated individual to fill an IT Support/System Engineer position. We require a knowledgeable and proactive professional to support our clients and work closely with management on advanced systems and services.
Required Experience:
- Providing our clients IT support: Troubleshoot, support, and maintain a variety of devices, applications, and platforms.
- Documentation: Generate and maintain clear, detailed documentation regarding the support, solutions, and processes provided to clients.
- Time Management: Ensure time usage meets client expectations and SLA requirements.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers to scope, plan, and execute IT projects (e.g., server migrations, cloud implementations, or network upgrades).
- Customer Service: Deliver an excellent support experience to IT clients, proactively communicating solutions and timelines. Optional Experience:
- Advanced Infrastructure Work: Perform Server Administration Windows Server configure and manage AWS Cloud Managing and maintaining EC2 Instances, VM Backups, IAM and S3
- Networking & Security: Deploy, configure, and maintain networking equipment (firewalls, switches, routers) and ensure best practices in security and disaster recovery. To be successful in the role, you must have knowledge in the following:
- Desktop Support: Experience with Windows 10/11 and Mac OS user support.
- Computer Management: Microsoft Intune or equivalent MDM software
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022): Solid foundation in server management, user administration, and Active Directory.
- Azure and Entra ID Services: Entra ID (Azure AD) administration and Azure Cloud Services
- Networking: Understanding of internal/external DNS management, VPN, VLANs, and firewall rules.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications and/or prior experience in a similar IT support or MSP role. The successful candidate must possess:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal abilities, with the capacity to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail & Time Management: Able to organise and prioritise workloads effectively, producing efficient, high-quality work.
- Autonomy & Initiative: Comfortable working independently while also knowing when to seek support or clarification.
- Commitment to Customer Service: Enthusiastic about providing superior service experiences and building positive client relationships.
