Freezer Forklift Driver – Day and Night Shift Location – Braeside VIC Hours of Work:
- 5am-1pm Monday to Friday (Day)
- 6pm-6am 7 day Fornight (Night) The Company Laurent Bakery has always been driven by love and respect for the craft of French artisan baking and exists as a homage to the values of a village bakery. The Role In order to maintain our exceptional product standards and continued smooth running of our factories, we are looking for an experienced forklift driver to work on our freezer. This is a physically active role based in our dry good stores and involves:
- Having a current forklift license ideally with both counterbalance and high reach
- Controlling stock levels
- Receipting of goods
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the freezer
- Assisting with loading/unloading of trucks
- Load refrigerated containers
- Must have experience working in a freezer environment (-27 degrees)
- Control and dispatch trucks
- Able to lift up to 25kgs As one of our new team members you will have:
- Good computer literacy
- Excellent comprehension of written and verbal instructions
- Ability to follow instructions to the letter
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethics and a positive attitude
- Ability to be flexible under changing workplace and workloads
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple processes
- Ability to show initiative and question when in doubt
