Are you a passionate and skilled Hairdresser who loves making people feel their best? TLC Aged Care is seeking a dedicated Hairdresser to provide high-quality hair and beauty services to our residents in a warm, supportive aged care environment.
- Job Type: Part Time – 3 days per week
- Location: Mordialloc
- This role is perfect for someone who brings creativity, compassion, and professionalism to every client interaction. You’ll play an important role in enhancing residents’ wellbeing, confidence, and comfort. About the Role As our Hairdresser, you will provide a full range of hairdressing and beauty services to residents within our aged care home. This includes:
- Shampooing, cutting, colouring, and styling hair
- Scalp treatments and massages
- Makeup application and wig dressing
- Hair removal services
- Nail and skin care treatments Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hairdressing and beauty services
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming salon environment
- Ensure accurate documentation of appointments and treatments
- Manage stock levels and secure storage of products
- Uphold TLC’s health, safety, and environmental standards
- Support a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture What You’ll Bring

- Ability to work autonomously and manage your schedule

- Commitment to safety, hygiene, and compliance
- Teamwork and collaboration with staff, residents, and families Qualifications & Experience To be successful, you will have:
- A recognised qualification in hairdressing and/or beauty
- 2+ years’ experience as a hairdresser or beautician
- Experience in aged care or general practice settings (preferred)
- Strong commitment to resident-focused care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compliance Requirements
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
- 2026 Flu Vaccination
- Valid driver’s licence
- Essential
- NDIS Check (includes police clearance)
