Role Mission The Production Engineer will provide technical support to manufacturing operations by ensuring production equipment and automated machinery run efficiently and reliably. The role is highly hands‑on and focused on troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance coordination, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. What your responsibilities will be
- You will provide day‑to‑day technical and breakdown support to production teams and automated manufacturing equipment.
- You will troubleshoot machinery and production line issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- You will support operators remotely or on‑site and assist in improving workflows and equipment usage.
- You will coordinate preventive maintenance activities, annual servicing, calibrations, and external contractor interventions.
- You will work closely with Procurement to ensure spare parts availability and timely maintenance planning.
- You will contribute to process improvement, automation initiatives, and engineering modifications across manufacturing operations.
- You will maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure compliance with GMP, quality, and safety standards. Who you are?
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Production Engineering, Equipment Maintenance, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or industrial production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills related to automated machinery and production equipment.
- Basic understanding of automation systems, PLCs, and computer networking.
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities, external contractors, and vendors.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills with the ability to work independently.
