Key Responsibilities: Preparation of financial statements – profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement. Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Prepare and lodge income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, and small businesses. Liase with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other regulatory bodies when required. Examining operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure Examining all general ledger accounts for assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenue. Ensure compliance with all tax requirements; reviewing, timely lodging, and payment of regulatory and taxation needs such as GST, BAS, payroll tax, income tax, superannuation, and paperwork for ASIC Accounting entry structure, accounting information production, and record-keeping Creating and maintaining all financial transactions for reporting purposes in accounting systems. Identify opportunities for process improvement and work on implementing changes to enhance financial efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting or financial management. Robust knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Solid attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
