Security Officer (Morwell)

Armed Security Officer
- Morwell, Victoria Armed Guard endorsement on a security license is required. Experience is not required. About the Role Casual opportunities available with 12‑hour rotating shifts. Pay rate is Level 2. Duties & Responsibilities
- Security patrols – foot and vehicle
- Access‑control management and alarm/fire monitoring, ensuring site compliance is always adhered to
- Communications with emergency services and police when required
- Maintaining security & visitor logbooks, weapons register and lost/found register
- Writing daily activity reports into the reporting system
- Competent use of MS computer systems
- Competent use of security software such as Gallagher, Genetec and Tecom electronic security systems will be highly regarded Requirements
- Australian citizen or full working rights
- Armed Guard endorsement on a security licence
- Current valid driver’s licence (own transport required)
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
- Robust computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Must have 24/7 flexibility to work a rotating roster – 12‑hour shifts
- Excellent communication skills and customer‑service experience
- Police checks and other background checks are also required Benefits
