- Work directly with a founder | Shape a growing multi-entity finance function The Opportunity An opportunity exists for a technically strong and commercially minded Senior Property Accountant / Finance Manager to join a quick-growing private property and investment group operating across Australia and New Zealand. The business has built a significant portfolio spanning retail, medical and commercial property sectors, supported by strong capital backing and an entrepreneurial leadership team. Alongside its core property operations, the business has recently launched a data-driven retail technology platform already gaining strong market traction nationally. This is a standalone finance leadership role working directly with the founder across a complex multi-entity structure, offering broad commercial exposure and a genuine opportunity to shape the finance function as the business continues to scale.

The Challenge The Challenge Reporting to the Managing Director, your key responsibilities will include the following:

- Oversee month-end, management reporting, statutory reporting and consolidations
- Manage trust accounting, investor reporting and governance across multiple trust structures
- Partner with the business on acquisitions, developments, leasing and strategic initiatives
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and treasury activities
- Exposure to development feasibilities, project reporting and financial models
- Drive improvements across systems, controls, reporting processes and automation
- Support the commercial growth of the group’s emerging technology platform
- Work closely with external advisors, capital partners and key stakeholders across the business The Expertise

- CA/CPA qualification with strong technical accounting capability
- Experience within property, development, funds management or multi-entity environments
- Strong understanding of trust accounting, financial reporting and compliance obligations
- Proven ability operating autonomously within fast-paced and entrepreneurial businesses
- Experience across budgeting, forecasting, treasury and cash flow management
- Systems-oriented mindset with a focus on process improvement and scalability
