Childcare Worker or Trainee, Light Kitchen Duties (Mosman)

**This position would suit a mum wanting to get back into the workforce, someone mature who would like to still work and join a great team or someone who is interested in Early childhood and interested in gaining training and experience.**

We are looking for someone who is dedicated, energetic and wanting to work with young children and a small team. Happy to pay above award wages for the right person.

No training is required. We will pay for your training and provide you time and help to get your certificate 3 in childcare.

However if you have your cert 3 we still welcome you to apply.

Happy to be flexible and offer full time or part time work.

The role will be to support other educators while they mentor you and guide you.

**About the business**: Mosman Kinderland is a small, private, family owned Childcare Centre in Mosman. Mosman Kinderland prides itself with having above required staff ratios which helps to ensure that children are cared for and given many opportunities for individual care and education. We are a small team who support each other and work as team and looking forward to welcoming someone who we can mentor and support.

We are flexible with the start date.

**About the role**:

- We require an enthusiastic and passionate person to undertake a traineeship (Cert 3
- Early Childhood Education and Care) as this is a government requirement. We are happy to mentor and help with the training.
- Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm but flexible to provide a part-time role

**Role will involve**:

- Working as part of an easy going and collaborative team.
- Supervising Children
- building positive relationships with children and families
- Supporting children at mealtimes
- Setting up the tables for mealtimes (children provide their own morning tea and lunch)
- Preparing a light afternoon tea for the children (we only have 33 children each day)
- Light Cleaning duties
- on the job training and study

**Skills and experience**:

- A Working With Children's Check (WWCC) is required
- Australian citizen, Australian resident or a visa to work/study in Australia

- $23.50 per hour
