About Quinn Financial Planning Quinn Financial Planning is a boutique, multi-disciplinary financial services firm operating under our own AFSL. We're a team of Chartered Accountants, Certified Financial Planners, and Solicitors who collaborate to deliver truly holistic advice to high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and families. Located in Neutral Bay, our office offers a professional yet close-knit environment where you'll work alongside experienced advisers and specialists across tax, legal, and financial planning disciplines. The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Associate Financial Planner who's passionate about delivering strategic advice and building meaningful client relationships. This role offers the chance to work directly with our Principal – a Chartered Accountant, CFP®, and SMSF Specialist – and contribute to the development and implementation of tailored financial strategies for our valued HNW clients. You'll be involved in every stage of the advice process and supported to grow into a senior advisory role. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Principal to research and develop bespoke financial strategies.
- Prepare and present complex, strategic Statements of Advice (SOAs).
- Implement advice across superannuation, SMSFs, investments, retirement, and estate planning.
- Liaise with our in-house tax advisers and solicitors to deliver integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions.
- Prepare and present client portfolio reviews with value-add strategies aligned to client goals.
- Maintain high standards of compliance, documentation, and client service. What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial planning, ideally with HNW clients.
- Strong technical knowledge in superannuation, SMSFs, investment strategies, retirement planning, and estate planning.
- Proven ability to develop and write complex SOAs.
- Proficiency in XPlan and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Passionate about delivering quality advice and exceptional client outcomes.
- Must have completed an approved degree as part of FASEA requirements.
