Ormeggio at The Spit, located at d’Albora Marina in Mosman, is a buzzy Italian seafood fine-dining restaurant and Cocktail Bar.
It has two chef hats, is often listed among Australia’s top restaurants and has an incredible team of skilled people from all over the world in its team.
The beautiful marble bar runs the length of the restaurant and is centre stage in the action. With both classic and bespoke cocktails on offer, a wide and varied spirits list and a focus on Italian spirits and Australian spirits and botanicals.
BARTENDERS
General Ormeggio Requirements:
Valid working rights in Australia
Current NSW RSA Certificate
Minimum of two years working in bars/restaurants
Classic cocktail knowledge is a must
Must be fluent in spoken English
Polite and mature personal manner
A warm and engaging smile!
Customer Service experience
Very good personal grooming standards
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, use common sense and work as a team player
Excellent attention to detail
Love of food and providing fantastic experiences for the customer!
Hours can vary, mostly Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- additional hours available for running shifts
Tasks include:
Continuous training and development to ensure current knowledge
Availability for Friday evenings, weekend lunch and dinner required
Assisting the front of house team with running smooth service, making drinks on dispense and running these drinks to the tables as required
Additional hours available in the week if interested in running food or waiting a section
Daily bar set up
Nightly cleaning and resetting of bar to ensure ready for next days service
