- As part of the DBS Support Services contract, Ventia are currently seeking a **Technical Data Analyst** to join the team in our **Cremorne Head Office **in a full-time, permanent role operating from Monday
- Friday.- The Business Technical Analyst (Data) will serve as a liaison between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on analyzing, designing, and implementing data solutions to meet business objectives. The role requires strong technical skills in T-SQL, Python, and VBA, along with a good grasp of business processes and data management.- Key responsibilities include gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing data models, and generating insights for strategic decisions. Additionally, the Analyst will maintain and manage critical SQL environments and database systems for Ventia’s primary Defence Contract and other clients.**Advantages**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and manage ETL processes, implement data quality checks, and optimize databases for efficient data integration and retrieval.
- Provide support for incident management, service requests, and enhancements.
- Automate and optimize data extraction, analysis, and reporting using T-SQL, Python, and VBA.
- Document and maintain all relevant processes.
- Build effective relationships with internal colleagues, external clients, partners, and vendors.
- Support line-of-business services and information systems, including associated databases.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Project Managers, Architects, and other leaders using lean and agile methods.
- Develop and implement APIs, automation, and other enhancements using relevant IT languages.

**Key Skills & Attributes**:

- Over 2 years of experience in data roles
- Current skills in systems language
- VBA, Python, Java, C++, HTML
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server stack including Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Proficient with TSQL
- including stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, etc
- Diploma or Higher Education (Information Technology) -Desirable
