Dog Grooming Assistant (Balgowlah Heights)

We are a pet grooming studio in Balgowlah Heights, focused on providing high-quality, one-on-one grooming experiences for our furry clients. We’re currently looking for a Pet Grooming Assistant with minimum 1 year of professional grooming or animal care experience to join our team. About the Role:
- 2–3 days per week, flexible schedule (must be available on Saturdays)
- Pre-clipping, bathing, drying, brushing, and preparing pets for grooming
- Confident in handling clippers for basic clipping/trimming
- Nail trimming and ear cleaning (if trained)
- Assisting with grooming tasks and ensuring pets are calm and comfortable
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the shop
- Calm, low-stress environment — we focus on quality and comfort, not speed Who We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of grooming or animal care experience (essential)
- Genuine love for animals with patience and gentle handling skills
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- ABN holder preferred (or willing to obtain one)
