Bakers Wanted (Mosman)

Job Overview Bonfire Bread, one of Sydney’s premier artisan bakeries, is proud to be among the first in the city to produce organic bread using high‑quality wheat and grains certified by Australian Certified Organic (ACO). We are excited to offer a baker position at our Mosman, NSW store. Responsibilities
- Mix, prepare and bake bread and pastries.
- Measure and combine ingredients, using mixers, blenders, heat sources and other equipment.
- Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
- Bake various types of bread.
- Assess the quality of raw materials before baking to ensure conformance to set standards.
- Monitor oven temperature and product appearance to determine baking times.
- Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure each item meets food safety and quality controls.
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety guidelines, including cleaning procedures, correct temperature control, proper storage of goods, protected operation of equipment, and avoidance of spills, trips and slips.
- Inspect facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance. Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in baking.
- Relevant qualifications in baking or related fields. Compensation & Benefits Annual leave: 4 weeks. Working hours: 38 hours per week. Pay: $72,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year.
