About Legacy Legacy is an iconic Australian charity dedicated to supporting veterans' families. We provide social, financial and emotional support to more than 28,000 partners, children and dependents of veterans who have lost their lives or health as a result of their service to our country. About the Role This is an chance to join the vibrant team at our Moss Vale Holiday House, where every day is about creating meaningful experiences for veterans' families. We're looking for a friendly and reliable Bus Driver, transporting veterans' families (including children, young people, people with disability, older people, widows/ers and partners) to outings and activities as part of our much-loved holiday program. This is a permanent part-time role (46 hours per fortnight), commencing immediately — perfect for someone who wants meaningful, people-centred work in a beautiful regional setting. The position is aligned to the SCHADSI Award Level 3.1. What You'll Be Doing
- Collect guests from pick-up locations and transport them safely to and from Legacy Holiday House at the start and end of each program
- Drive beneficiaries to local and regional destinations for scheduled outings and activities
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and dignity at every step
- Conduct vehicle safety checks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the bus meets all WHS standards
- Support outings across other Legacy programs in the greater Sydney region as required
- Be the friendly, familiar face that makes guests feel safe and looked after Essential Requirements
- Current MR Drivers Licence or above
- Previous experience in customer service
- Knowledge of the Southern Highlands and surrounding regional areas
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team Highly Regarded
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
