Duty Manager/supervisor (Moss Vale)

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members to ensure smooth operations
- Train and mentor team members on food production, food preparation, and customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Assist with scheduling and payroll management
- Collaborate with other managers to develop and implement strategies for improving overall efficiency and profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized work workplace

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Skills:

- Culinary background or experience in food preparation
- Experience in bartending or beverage service
- Familiarity with hotel operations
