About the roleYouthworks Conference Centres is seeking Guest Relation Assistants for our team at Port Hacking, situated in the beautiful Royal National Park, just outside Sutherland. This casual role offers flexible shifts to service seven day a week operations. Your key role will be contributing to our guests satisfaction, through providing high quality meal service to Youthworks’ standards. No late nights! Evening shifts finish at 8pm (with minimal exceptions) No split shifts Spectacular workplace environment Friendly and supportive team Your responsibilitiesProvide high quality guest-centered service that achieves a pleasant experience for guests and promotes Youthworks in a positive way. Maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in area(s) of responsibility. Ensure that meal service is provided to guest groups in a timely fashion including liaising with catering staff in regards to meal portions and service of special dietary meals. Where appropriate meal service also includes oversight and instruction of the meal service volunteers. You will need to demonstrateA passion for hospitality or customer service Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and to be flexible to reflect changes in priority A systematic and focused approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail An ability to work with a wide range of staff to achieve effective outcomes Good personal presentation Willingness to work in an overtly Christian setting and within an Anglican organisation What we would really like you to haveA personal Christian faith Hospitality and customer service-related qualifications and experience Additional informationCurrent drivers licence and own transport is essential as there is no public transport anywhere near the Shoalhaven Conference Centres.
